In The Footsteps of Alfred

Considered black and white photographs taken in New York City locations Alfred Stieglitz may have placed his feet, in a spirit he championed.

His contributions to the “art” of photography remain critical to showing us what is possible. What started for me as the search for a “truncated cityscape” slowly became a study of approach and vision. This is not an homage to one of our craft’s great early masters, rather a meditation on dedication, process and practice.
